Church basements and parish halls are where Wi-Fi goes to die. So your check-in stations talk to each other directly, over the air, with no router and no signal. The instant one device finds a connection, every check-in and registration uploads.
What about money at the door?
A card still needs a signal to charge, so we keep payment off the offline path on purpose. Families pay when they register online, in the church office, or, if they have a card on file, agree to be billed the moment you reconnect.
