St Peter Catholic Church

Closed

in the Archdiocese of Detroit

We're still populating this registry. The data-quality score on each entry shows how complete and well-sourced it is today; many are sparse for now, and the scores climb as we verify and enrich the data.

Contact

Address, phone, email, and website are sourced from the parish's diocese website, the parish's own site, and public registries (Google Places, IRS BMF).

website_status flags broken pointers (dead_domain, parked_domain, aggregator, etc.). Strike-through indicates the URL no longer resolves to a working parish website.

Identity

The registry ID is permanent. It survives renaming, merging, closure, and address changes. Reference it externally and it won't change.

Year founded and religious order are extracted from diocese-website history blocks where available. Coverage is sparse today; expected to fill in over time.

Parish lineage

Predecessors: parishes that closed or merged into this one (records flow inward).

Successors: parishes this one merged into or transferred records to (records flow outward; usually populated only if this parish is closed).

Related parishes: co-located worship sites, pastoral clusters, and other non-merger relationships.

Edges come from diocese decrees, parish-website history pages, user reports, and inferential reconciliation.

Records routed here

If you're searching for a baptismal, marriage, or sacramental record from a parish that no longer exists, this list shows which closed/merged parishes' records this parish now holds.

An empty state means we haven't recorded any inbound records-routing edges yet. It does not guarantee this parish only holds its own records. Records routing in pre-merger periods often isn't captured in any digital source.
